Paul & Walt Worldwide Branding, or, Still Life With “Worldwide Guy”

Identity, Logo, Shwag

paul-and-walt-stilllife-1

Once the Tony Patti-designed logo was ready to go, it was quickly and gleefully applied to identity materials, information kits, signage, CDS (of course), shwag, and even our bendable mascot, “The Worldwide Guy.” That’s him waving.

Paul Fey conceived and concocted our beloved “guy,” and many of us, including Walt Jaschek (who took this shot), still has “him” hanging around! Do you? Let us know in the comments!

The Paul & Walt Worldwide Logo

Art, Identity, Logo

cropped-pww-logo-bw-centered-lorez.jpg
Our iconic logo was created in 1991 by Tony Patti, the brilliant artist, graphic designer and writer in St. Louis.

That’s Paul Fey, left, holding the mic. By default, that must be Walt Jaschek holding the script. 😉 The guys sometimes attempted to duplicate this pose.

This baby ended up on lots and lots of stuff. Stay tuned and in the days ahead, we’ll show ya some of it. Scanner warmin’ up!
